Agency & Multi-Workspace Setup

6 min read

Aledamail's agency plan lets you manage multiple client accounts from a single dashboard. Each client gets their own isolated workspace — separate lists, campaigns, automations, and sending infrastructure — while you control everything from one place.

How agency accounts work

When you sign up for an agency plan, you get an agency-level account with a central dashboard. From there you create workspaces for each client. Each workspace is a fully independent Aledamail account with its own:

Clients can optionally be given login access to their own workspace. If you prefer to manage everything yourself, you can keep client workspaces agency-only with no client login.

Setting up your agency account

  1. Go to mxa.aledamail.com/agency/register and sign up for an agency account.
  2. Choose your agency plan — plans scale by the number of workspaces and total subscribers across all clients.
  3. Once registered, you will land on the agency dashboard.

Creating a client workspace

  1. From the agency dashboard, click New Workspace.
  2. Enter the client's name, email address, and timezone.
  3. Choose whether to provision a shared sending server automatically or connect a dedicated one later.
  4. Click Create Workspace. The workspace is ready immediately.
Tip: Use the client's actual business domain in the workspace name — it makes it easier to find when you are managing many accounts.

Shared sending server

If you have a shared sending server configured at the agency level, new workspaces can inherit it automatically. This means you can onboard a new client and have them sending within minutes, without needing to provision separate SES or SMTP credentials for each one.

To configure a shared server, go to Agency Settings → Sending Server and connect your server there. All new workspaces created after this will have it available by default.

Note: For clients with high volume or strict deliverability requirements, we recommend connecting a dedicated sending server per workspace rather than using the shared pool.

Switching between workspaces

From the agency dashboard, click any workspace name to switch into it. You will see that workspace's full Aledamail interface — lists, campaigns, automations, and settings — as if you were logged in as that client. Click Back to Agency in the top bar to return to the agency dashboard.

Giving clients access

If you want a client to log in and manage their own workspace:

  1. Switch into the client's workspace.
  2. Go to Settings → Users.
  3. Click Invite user and enter the client's email address.
  4. The client receives an invitation email with a link to set their password.

You can set permissions per user — full access, campaign-only, or read-only reporting.

Billing and usage

Agency plans are billed at the agency level based on your plan tier. Individual workspaces do not have their own billing — all usage rolls up to the agency account. You can set per-workspace sending limits from the agency dashboard to prevent any single client from consuming too much of your plan's capacity.
