Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs what you may and may not send through the Aledamail platform. It is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
1. Permission-based sending only
All email sent through Aledamail must be to recipients who have given explicit, verifiable consent to receive communications from you. This means:
- Recipients must have opted in through a form, signup, purchase, or other clear affirmative action
- You must be able to provide proof of consent for any subscriber if requested
- Purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, or appended email lists are strictly prohibited
- Third-party lists are not permitted, even if the provider claims the recipients opted in
2. Prohibited content
You may not use Aledamail to send email that:
- Promotes illegal products, services, or activities
- Contains or links to malware, phishing, or deceptive content
- Promotes violence, hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
- Contains sexually explicit material
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Promotes fraudulent schemes, pyramid schemes, or multi-level marketing
- Is deceptive about sender identity or contains false header information
- Violates CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, or other applicable email regulations
3. Compliance requirements
All email sent through Aledamail must:
- Include a functioning unsubscribe mechanism
- Include accurate sender identification
- Include a valid physical mailing address
- Honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days (we process most immediately)
- Comply with all applicable laws in both the sender's and recipient's jurisdiction
4. List hygiene
You are responsible for maintaining clean subscriber lists. This includes:
- Removing bounced addresses promptly (Aledamail handles hard bounces automatically)
- Processing unsubscribe requests promptly
- Not re-adding subscribers who have unsubscribed
- Regularly reviewing and cleaning inactive subscribers
5. Sending practices
We reserve the right to set and enforce sending limits, throttle sending rates, and require gradual volume increases for new accounts or new sending domains. These measures protect deliverability for all users on the platform.
6. Monitoring and enforcement
We monitor sending activity, bounce rates, complaint rates, and spam trap hits. If your sending triggers concerning patterns, we may:
- Contact you for clarification
- Temporarily pause your sending while we investigate
- Require you to clean your list or change your practices
- Suspend or terminate your account for repeated or serious violations
7. Reporting violations
If you believe email sent through Aledamail violates this policy, please report it to abuse@senders.co.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
